From the idea to the platform.
The idea for SkillBridge™ arose from a brief conversation on a normal working day in the hospital: Armin Azimi – SkillBridge™ founder and doctor with years of clinical experience – was sitting together with a colleague from the ward management. The day had already been long and the conversation turned, as it so often does, to duty scheduling, short-term changes and the daily organizational stress on the ward.
“Actually, we have enough dedicated people in the team,” said the colleague at the time. “It's just usually very time-consuming to clarify who is currently available and would take on an additional shift.”
This sentence stuck. In daily clinical routine, personnel gaps often arise at short notice – and their solution costs a lot of time, nerves, often countless phone calls and a lot of improvisation. Our conviction: goal-oriented and practice-oriented support on a digital level can help significantly here!
